Restaurant Sri Nirwana Maju, Kuala Lumpur

IMG_4662

This Indian restaurant has several spots in Kuala Lumpur and serves authentic Indian food on banana leaves. We’ve been to the Bangsar joint on a Sunday for lunch and the place was really busy. No wonder, since many KLers say that Nirwana serves the best Indian food.
Once you sit down a waiter puts the clean banana leave on your table, he then serves several kinds of sauces: some kind of chutney, a refreshing cucumber-yoghurt sauce, some spicy fried cauliflowers. You can chose from a variety of different rices as a basis for your meal. I opted for Beryani chicken rice, which was a spicy chicken rice. On top I had mutton masala stew, delicious. Of course a big dollop of chili sauce on the side never hurts. The whole meal just tasted delicious, with all the sauces interacting just perfectly. The fresh cucumber sauce with the spicier rice and the chili sauce was just awesome! Another must go if you re in KL! (and if you like Indian food of course)

This is not a real Club! Rather a virtual club permitting to share wine impressions with a wider public. Further, I’ll post on restaurants and anything well-tasting. Comments and discussions are most welcome!
